Midnight
Seraphim
2nd
Generation True Black! Ribbon Winner! Beautiful!
Midnight Seraphim's fleece exhibits lovely luster and a wonderful hand.
We compared samples from black females all over the country and hers
was the most beautiful and luxurious feeling of them all. Take a look
at her very impressive five-year histogram: 21.4 AFD, 4.4 SD, 20.6%
CV, 4.3% over 30
Sera has solid bone, great density, excellent coverage, and bright
crimpy jet black fleece. She has lovely proportions and a good bite.
She is friendly and personable. Sera is black out of two black parents.
In four generations, none of her ancestors are lighter than Medium Brown,
and most are True Black.
Seraphim has required no delivery assistance and is an excellent milk
producer. She has big, strong, healthy crias that grow fast.

Breeding this spring 2009 to full Peruvian Colorado Mezcal, who
at ELEVEN years of age has a micron count of 22.6 with a standard
deviation of 4.8. Mezcal is a son of Drambuie who sold at a record
breaking price many years ago to a top Australian breeder.
Based on Mezcal's history of passing on the dam's color to his
offspring, we expect a black cria from this pairing with really
excellent fleece and great conformation.
Breeding: Bred 6/15/2009 to Colorado Mezcal! Confirmed
pregnant via ultrasound 7/26/2009.
Due: May 26, 2010
