Pure Gold is a DPA Peruvian Powerplay son, grandson of PPeruvian Timoteo, with PPPeruvian Azul Celeste as grandmother. He is full Peruvian, 1/4 Accoyo.

Pure Gold placed 2nd at the 2004 MAPACA Jubilee and 3rd at the 2004 AOBA Nationals. The placement at the 2004 AOBA Nationals under Maggie Krieger was significant in that he was only placed under two very large West Coast farms. Maggie commented that the competition was very "tight" at the top of this very large class of 13. He was described as "exquisite" by one judge. Another judge commented on his unbelievable fiber length of 6+ inches. Pure Gold's fiber measured 19.5 microns at EIGHT YEARS OLD! As you can see, this is one outstanding alpaca!
